Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has admitted he has felt weighed down by the expectation that comes with a big transfer fee.
Berbatov joined United from Tottenham in 2008 for a price in the region of £30.75million.
But the Bulgarian struggled for consistent form during his first two seasons at Old Trafford,leading to scrutiny from some sections.
However, Berbatov has started the current campaign in scintillating fashion, with his hat-trick against Liverpool taking his goals tally to seven in all competitions.
The 29-year-old told MUTV: "I suppose I am a strange guy but I am shy and maybe some people don't realise that.
