Nani is ready to return to action for Manchester United after making a swift return from a dislocated collarbone.
The Portugal winger was ruled out of the World Cup after suffering the injury before the first game in South Africa.
It looked as though he would miss United's summer tour but he joined the group at their training camp in Chicago last week.
He is now hoping to get a run-out against Philadelphia Union on Wednesday and Kansas City Wizards on Sunday.
Speaking before a session tonight at the NovaCare Complex, Nani said: "I just started training with the team three days ago.
"I am feeling good now. I can feel my fitness beginning to build up and I am hoping to play a little bit this week."
Nani has praised the support of manager Sir Alex Ferguson and added: "I am learning a lot from him.
"He knows how to work with young lads and makes us grow up."
Ferguson has been pleased with the way his players are working in difficult conditions, with temperatures over 30 degrees Celcius.
They have been allowed some time off, however, and made a visit to Independence Hall today.
"We had our own security but it was not needed a great deal," said Ferguson. "We were very comfortable.
"We are doing double sessions and that helps us get a little rest after lunchtime.
"The conditions haven't stopped us - they have been really good. The players have been great. They have shown some good application, good concentration and put in some really good work.
"It is now we are beginning to see the benefits of our training. The tempo is at the level we expect of our players."
Meanwhile, new United recruit Chris Smalling has thanked fellow central defenders Wes Brown and Jonny Evans for helping him settle in.
Smalling is looking for his second run-out for the club against Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field.
The former Fulham player partnered Evans at the back in the 3-1 victory over Celtic on Friday in Toronto.
Smalling, 20, is still coming to terms with his rapid rise up the ladder - 18 months ago he was playing for non-league Maidstone.
With Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic both absent, he has the chance to make an early impression on Ferguson and the coaching staff.
Smalling said: "The tour has been a really enjoyable experience so far. It was great to meet everyone, initially at Carrington.
"I have spent quite a bit of time with Wes and Jonny , my fellow centre-backs.
"And I have also been chatting to a lot of the younger lads. It is just great to get to know everybody and be part of such a great club. I just want to do my best.
